History:

  • Milton Keynes Theatre is a landmark building and one of ATG’s most successful regional venues with a striking contemporary auditorium and state-of-the-art backstage facilities.
  • Its flexible auditorium is suitable for presenting productions ranging from the largest musicals and operas to dance, drama and one night events.
  • Recent shows include Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Ghost and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. We've had visits from Glyndebourne Touring Opera and English National Ballet, and plays such as King Lear with Sir Derek Jacobi and Waiting for Godot with Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart.
  • An Ambassador Lounge opened in 2013.
